Ich habe mir die Videos noch mal angeschaut. Ich fand ja Jennifer Braun mit der langsamen Version von Satellite am besten. Gesanglich war Jennifer sowieso besser als Lena, die kann echt alles singen.
Lena hat auf mich so eine “Björk-Wirkung”. Sie ist anders und irgendwie cool, aber auf Dauer kann ich die Stimme und ihre Art nicht ertragen.
Da bei der Show sicherlich nicht nur der Gesang im Vordergrund stehen wird, war Lena wohl auch die richtige Wahl. Mal schauen wie Lena´s Song in Europa ankommt. Schlimmer als in den vergangenen Jahren kann´s ja nicht werden. _________________ Arbeiter der Liebe!

Aus Gelegenheit stieß ich mal wieder auf einen "Djian" und las ihn, obwohl ich vermieden hatte mir seine späteren Sachen anzuschauen, aufgrund der Warnung, die wären nicht mehr so gut wie die früheren und Protagonisten wären nur noch ältliche jammernde Männer, worauf ich jetzt mal keinen Bock hatte.
Im Roman "Reibereien" ist auf Seite 115 (Diogenes, 2005) "The Hanging Garden" erwähnt.
"Wir hörten The Hanging Garden von The Cure, und Sonia lauschte der Musik mit geschlossenen Augen. Ich hatte nicht das geringste Mitleid mit ihr. Ich konnte mir nicht mal vorstellen, daß sie bald die Mutter unseres Kindes sein würde. Und ich nehme an, daß auch sie es sich nicht vorstellen konnte. Die Tatsache, daß sie schwanger war, hatte sie in keiner Weise bremsen können. Und wenn die Schwangerschaft eine Frau nicht bremsen kann, was soll sie dann bremsen?"
Das Buch ist besser als die Textstelle vielleicht vermuten lässt... im Grunde saucool, immer noch hochverehrt der Philippe Djian.
